The name Snappy Pappy Creations came to me in December 2024, long before I knew what the company would become. It kept rattling around in my head. Eventually, the name stuck, and the brand was born.
But how did Snappy Pappy come to be?
While volunteering at Southern Pines Animal Shelter on a cold January day, I met my best friend, adopted him, and brought him home to meet my parents. From that moment on, my mom started calling my dad “Pappy.”

Most of us have had a pappy in our lives; whether he’s our dad, our grandfather, or someone who feels like both. My dad just so happens to be a little snappy sometimes. You can find him outdoors doing all the things he loves: hunting, fishing, working in the garden, boiling crawfish, fixing a car, or riding the boat on the river.
Growing up in the South, I’ve always had deep roots in Cajun culture. I wanted that spirit to live in everything we created. Our gator mascot? He’s more than just a logo; he’s a Snappy Pappy through and through, rocking overalls and repping Cajun pride.
During football season, you can find my dad watching all the best games. Down here, football’s like religion.
Months later, in March 2025, we finally landed on what the company would be. After extensive market research, I realized there was a gaping need for two things:
Eco-conscious clothing that doesn’t break the bank (because seriously, why are shirts $100?)
Nature-inspired designs for Snappy Pappys, regular pappys, arborists, nature lovers, and anyone who wants to feel a little better about what they wear
Snappy Pappy Creations brings you eco-conscious, nature-inspired apparel stitched with Southern soul and a little enchantment. We believe in slow livin’, strong roots, and spooky stories passed down like family recipes.
Every piece is ethically made using sustainable materials and Cajun creativity. We celebrate nature, the changing seasons, and the sacred weirdness of Halloween.
Welcome to Snappy Pappy Creations. We're glad you're here.
